Intermittent Site Availability

If you notice that your site (URL) brings up a 404 error page every so often when you are trying to access it, check your nameservers at your DNS registrar. If you purchased your domain through MediaCatch, you may ask support to check your nameservers for you.

Nameservers are selected in a "round-robin" fashion when someone tries to access your website. If you changed providers recently, and added the MediaCatch nameservers to your list, but forgot to remove your previous provider's nameservers, then website visitors will receive an error page whenever the old provider's nameservers are used. Each nameserver listed has an equal probability of being used, so you want to be sure to only have valid nameservers listed.
