Domain parking (at least in the context as it's used here) refers to the process of adding additional domain names to a hosting account with all of the domain names resolving to the account's primary domain index page.
Example:
cpu.com -> http://processor.com/index.html
Our hosting accounts include the ability to park extra domains, with all of the domains directing traffic to a single index page (i.e. one website which can be accessed using multiple domain names).
A common example of domain parking would be a company who purchases the rights to theircompanyname.com and theircompanyname.net and wishes to have users be able to get to their site via either domain.
To park a domain in this context:
1. Click on the Park or Point a Domain link in the DNS Functions menu.
2. Enter the domain that you want traffic pointed to in the Domain to park on top of field.
3. Enter the domain that you want to park in the Domain to park field.
Example: You want to point all HTTP and email traffic from yourcompanyname.net to yourcompanyname.com. Enter yourcompanyname.com in the Domain to park on top of field and yourcompanyname.net in the Domain to park field.

Domain parking is sometimes used in the following more generic context: In the Web hosting business, DNS parking can be a service that the Web host will offer to its clients as a way of securing a domain name for future use. The Web host registers the domain name with the InterNIC and "parks" the domain name on a server until it is ready to be made active. By doing this, the Web host ensures the availability of the domain name for the client's future use so that another individual or company cannot register that same domain name. As a domain name registrar, MediaCatch LLC also provides this form of domain parking for its customers on request.
