Can I store personal backups on my web space?

Yes! Unlike many major web hosts, you can use our storage as your own personal backup disk. As long as your data is outside the "public_html" directory (/home/username/ is where you need to have it), we see no problem with it.

If you search in "other" web hosts Terms of Service for what you are allowed to use your space for, they will have a clause in there saying something about "no personal backups allowed".

Why do we allow this?

- We have massive amounts of storage per server, terabytes!
- We've priced our packages so that we remain happy and don't mind that you're using up all of your space like other web hosts do.
- This is your home on the Internet, store what you need available.
